Needless
to say with 60 Siberian Huskies we absolutely love the breed. We get very attached
to all of our dogs and as such do not sell dogs; and besides there are many
huskies out there that need new loving homes. However, as wonderful, cuddly
and beautiful as they are they do have some "negative" traits that
can make them unsuitable pets to the uneducated buyer. These "undesirable"
traits are also what make the breed unique. The Siberian LOVES to run and has
an incredible amount of energy; as such they also require lots of exercise.
For the pet owner who can't offer them a large fenced yard or alot of time for
walks they can become very destructive. Chewed furniture, carpets, & walls
are not uncommon stories. They also will dig and are amazing escape artists.
Due to their desire to run if they get off a leash or dig/jump out of a yard
they will run away.
Because the breed is so adorable, people often buy that cute puppy without realizing what they are getting into. Once the "pup" is about a year old they realize they have made a mistake and anxiousely try and find a new home for their dog. This is an unfortunate truth and as such we receive many calls from people looking for a new home for their husky. Having an inside kennel we have limited space so simply can't take every dog we hear about and that is why we have set up this page.
If you have a Siberian Husky that you no longer can keep please email us with your dogs information, a picture and a way to contact you and we will post your dog on this message board. If you understand all aspects of the breed and feel you could give a Husky a loving home than please consider adopting one of these wonderful dogs.
Please note this is to act as a message board only - we will post and take down listings as requested. We will not be directly involved with any rescue and do not know any of the dogs listed personally. Please let us know if you have successfully rescued a husky and we will post the success story for you!

The following Siberian Huskies are in need of new homes:
Nikita
A four (4) year old Siberian husky. Her face is white & black. Her body
is a mix of white, black & grey. Nikita is very obedient & knows the following
commands: Stay, Sit, Down, Give a paw, Slow (when running together on
a leash with you) She loves to be affectionate with you by greeting you
and licking your face. She is very friendly with both men and women. She
is not very good with small animals due to the nature of the breed. She
is a wonderful and affectionate dog that likes company and needs a good
home with someone to love her and care for her. For additional information,
