About Us

We have 150 Purebred Siberian Huskies to love and cuddle with in our kennel – the type of dog most people expect to see when they think of Canadian dogsledding. To meet all of our dogs, see their pictures and read their biographies check out Our Huskies page. Our sled dogs are part of our family, and each a special love! As such we don’t sell puppies or dogs, when one comes to us they have a home & family for life! All of our dogs have unique and wonderful personalities. If you are unfamiliar with the breed, let us assure you there is no friendlier (or active) dog than the Siberian, they absolutely LOVE people and attention. Our huskies have also had their fair share of media attention from movies to TV commercials, music videos and photo shoots to TV shows.

We started dogsledding 26 years ago in Guelph, Ontario as a hobby and a chance to get out in the winter with our couple of huskies for some fun while working in the Engineering & Millwrighting fields. Soon however, we found ourselves totally addicted to the sport of dog sledding with the size of our husky family steadily growing. We also found that many people had a great interest in dogsledding, but no practical way to try it, so we decided to make dogsledding a full time business and relocated to the Haliburton Highlands, near Algonquin Park 22 years ago, where snow conditions are more predictable and the dogsledding trails are excellent!

Our dogsled tours are run on our own 2200 acres of private wilderness located between Haliburton Lake and the doorstep of Algonquin Park. This is a unique opportunity to experience the solitude, remoteness and picturesque beauty of a part of Ontario that few people will ever see.

Thanks for stopping by! Enjoy your time on our website and we look forward to welcoming you soon!!
