In early 2025 our Winterdance huskies were invited to join the cast and crew of "A Very Jonas Christmas" — a magical, musical Christmas adventure now streaming on Disney+. We received the call after members of the production team, who had worked with us on Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, recommended our dogs for this project. Thanks to their kind words, we were asked to bring a team of huskies to set to help bring a snowy rescue scene to life.

The shoot took place in Toronto, where our dogs worked alongside the Jonas Brothers, Randal Park (as the musher)and an exceptional crew. Director Michelle Yu was incredible to work with — warm, organized, creative, and instantly in sync with what the dogs needed and how to help the dogs shine on camera.

Our huskies made a ton of new friends on set (including the caterer who offered to bring them whatever meat they might desire), winning over the crew and some of the cast with their gentle personalities, and spent the day doing what they love most: running, meeting people and working as a team.

It was a joyful, festive, once-in-a-lifetime experience for both our team and huskies, and we are grateful for the opportunity to be part a small part of this special 20th anniversary year for the Jonas Brothers.
